Lok Sabha ruckus: Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj slam Congress
New Delhi, Feb 13: Senior BJP leader and Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley on Thursday lashed out at the Congress-led UPA government over the pandemonium that disrupted the Parliament. Jaitley said in his blog that the UPA "has lost the will to rule" and "its ability to take and implement political decisions has come into severe questioning".

He also alleged that the Congress party is vertically split and accused its MPs from Andhra Pradesh of paralysing the Parliament. He expressed concern saying dangerous and prohibited devices are used to disrupt the parliament's functioning.
Jaitley also said the BJP, unlike the Congress, has taken a uniform stand in supporting the creation of Telangana while addressing the legitimate concern of the people of Seemandhra. [Read Jaitley's full blog here]
Sushma Swaraj holds Congress responsible for the ruckus
Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj also hit out at the Congress, saying the ruckus in the Parliament was a game plan of the ruling party. She said they did not know when the Speaker came and when the bill was introduced and suddenly saw pepper sprays being used and member started coughing.
Ruckus broke out as soon as the Telangana Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha on Thursday by Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde. As soon as he rose to introduce the bill, expelled Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal used pepper spray to disrupt the house. Another MP Venugopal Rao belonging to the TDP allegedly used a knife to threaten fellow members in the Lok Sabha.
TDP MP K Narayana Rao was rushed to the hospital as he collapsed in the Lok Sabha after allegedly consuming something.
The Lok Sabha was adjourned following the ruckus.
