ISI spy arrested at Integrated Test Range area in Odisha

New Delhi, Jan 23: A photographer and suspected ISI agent has been arrested at Chandipur in Odisha. He was arrested at the Integrated Test Range (ITR) area which is a prohibited location.

According to the police, 35-year-old Iswar Chandra Behera was being tracked for 8 months and it is suspected that he was gathering vital information.

In touch with an ISI agent:

According to investigations Behera was working as a photographer. He was engaged as a photographer at the ITR on a temporary basis. He is alleged to have been in contact with an ISI spy based out of Kolkata.

As details continue to emerge it is alleged that he could have been sending pictures of the ITR and information to the agent in Kolkata. He had visited Kolkata several times in recent months on the pretext of repairing his camera.

Will be produced before the court:

The police will produce him before the court and seek his custody for interrogation. The police have seized a laptop, his camera, hard disks and two cell phones from him.
