India's Got Latent Star Samay Raina's Delhi Show Cancelled
Stand-up comedian Samay Raina's upcoming shows slated to be held in Delhi's Talkatora Stadium on March 21 and 23, have been called off. According to the reports, Samay Raina's shows have been cancelled following India's Got Latent controversy and security concerns.
BookMyShow informed attendees that they would receive refunds within 7 to 10 working days.

BookMyShow's message to ticket buyers reads: "Your Samay Raina Unfiltered - Talkatora Stadium Show scheduled on Fri Mar 21 2025 (or Sun Mar 23 2025) 7:00 PM at Talkatora Stadium Delhi has been cancelled. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We have processed the refund for the amount...The refund should reflect in 7 to 10 working days."
Controversy Surrounding India's Got Latent
The reason for cancelling these shows remains undisclosed by both BookMyShow and Samay Raina. Last month, reports indicated that Raina's April shows in Gujarat were also cancelled due to backlash over controversial remarks made during an episode of India's Got Latent. This episode featured podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, YouTuber Ashish Chanchalani, and content creator Apoorva Mukhija, known as 'The Rebel Kid'.
The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) claimed that tickets for Raina's Gujarat performances were no longer available on BookMyShow. The controversy erupted after Allahbadia made remarks about parents and sex on Raina's show, leading to public outrage and multiple police complaints against those involved.
Supreme Court Criticism
The Supreme Court criticised both Raina's show and Allahbadia during a hearing related to the controversy. The court described Allahbadia's language as "dirty" and indicative of a "pervert mindset." Although interim protection was granted to him, the court directed Allahbadia to participate in the investigation.
Raina, along with Allahbadia and Mukhija, has faced significant backlash since the contentious episode aired. The situation has led to increased scrutiny of their content and public appearances.
