New Delhi, Nov 24: The whereabouts of JNU student Najeeb Ahmed remain unknown till date. Ahmed was last seen on Oct 15.
Several protests erupted in the capital seeking probe into his disappearance. Even Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal urged students of JNU to protest at India Gate.
Ahmed's mother, who had met Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav for seeking help against the inaction of Delhi Police and JNU administration, was seen protesting along with students on Wednesday at Jantar Mantar.
Ahmed, reportedly went missing after allegedly being beaten up by some students comprising ABVP members, who had gone campaigning to his room for hostel elections on the intervening night of October 14-15.
