IIT graduate puts himself 'on sale' on Flipkart

New Delhi, March 2: An alumni of the IIT-Kharagpur put himself 'on sale' on e-commerce giant to catch attraction of the firm as a probable employer!

Aakash Neeraj Mittal, also the author of It Wasn't Her Fault, was reportedly keen to get a job at Flipkart and chose a unique way of applying.

In the ad that he posted, he hoped to get the designation of 'Product Manager'.

"Sold by" IIT-Kharagpur ('Best since 1951', as he put it), Mittal put a price tag of Rs 27,60,200 ONLY on himself.

Along with posting his resume, Mittal wrote, "When you are a 6-pointer and competing with best of the best minds of the country, you know how hard it is to land a job. You start doing some crazy and random stuff to stand out from the crowd. This is my resume for Flipkart's APM Profile. I didn't get an interview call though, but I hope it will bring a smile on someone's face."

He deleted his profile later.
