IAF glider makes emergency landing in New Delhi

A microlite aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) was forced to make an emergency landing in east Delhi's Shastri Park today. According to reports, the two-seater glider developed a technical glitch.
According to a police officer, the incident took place at around 10.30 a.m. The glider made an emergency landing in a Delhi Development Authority ground near Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital, police said.
"The glider developed a minor technical fault and had to make an emergency landing," said the officer.
Neither the pilot and co-pilot nor anyone on the ground was injured, said the officer.
