Huma Qureshi's Brother Murdered Over Parking Dispute; Victim's Wife, Family's First Reaction

Asif Qureshi, the cousin brother of actress Huma Qureshi, was murdered on Thursday night in Delhi's Nizamuddin area following a dispute over parking. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the Jangpura Bhogal market lane when an argument over a scooter escalated into a fatal assault. Two brothers have since been arrested in connection with the murder.

The conflict reportedly began when Asif asked his neighbours to move a scooter parked near his gate. This led to a heated altercation, during which Asif was allegedly attacked with a sharp, iron object. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead by doctors.

Asif's family claims the murder was a pre-planned conspiracy, not a spontaneous act of rage over a minor issue. They state that there had been previous clashes with the accused over parking.

The wife of the deceased says, "My man has been deliberately and conspiratorially killed..."

A relative provided more details on the altercation: "The scooter was parked, so he told them to move it. They started arguing, then his brother arrived, and the elder brother hit him with an iron object, causing him to bleed..."

Police have arrested two brothers, identified as Gautam and Ujjwal, in connection with the case. Ujjwal is alleged to have initiated the attack. The community and family members have expressed shock and outrage, demanding justice for Asif.
