New Delhi, May 6: Few days after praising BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, Bollywood actor Preity Zinta is caught in a political storm that has raised many eyebrows.
Known for her straightforward and to-the-point answers, Zinta a few days back praised Narendra Modi saying that 'I am his fan, hope he wins.'

However, reports suggest that her family is not happy with her inclination towards Modi as her family is Congress inclined. What bothers her family is that her uncle is the Vice President of the Himachal Urban Development Authority and also happens to be a close confidante of the Himachal CM Virbhadra Singh.
Preity even clarified on her Twitter account that she was not campaigning for any particular party or a leader. Recently when she was on a trip to Varanasi, it was perceived that she was there to support Narendra Modi, who is also contesting from Varanasi.
