Google creates crisis map to help J&K flood rescue ops

has created a crisis map with updated satellite imagery to facilitate rescue operations in flood-ravaged

"Our hope is that this will help rescue agencies, volunteers and others involved in rescue operations respond to this crisis by identifying flood zones, evacuation routes and weather conditions," Google said in a statement on Saturday.

Over 200 people have died and nearly 1,30,000 people have been rescued in the flood-hit state so far.
