Former PM Manmohan Singh summoned in coal allocation case
New Delhi, March 11: The Patiala House Court on Wednesday summoned former prime minister Manmohan Singh in connection to the coal allocation scam.
The Central Bureau of Investigation had recorded Singh's statement on January 20.
Reports said he was summoned for offences of criminal conspiracy, breach of trust and under provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act.
Special Judge Bharat Parashar also summoned industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla, former coal secretary PC Parakh and three others were also summoned in tne case for April 8.
