Fog Disrupts Flight Operations At Delhi Airport, Causing Low Visibility
Chaos descended upon Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) today as a blanket of thick fog blanketed the city, reducing visibility to near zero and sending scheduled flights into a dizzying spiral of delays and diversions.
Passengers, eagerly anticipating reunions and holiday celebrations, were instead met with frustration and uncertainty as the impenetrable wall of white shrouded the airport in an eerie silence.

In the early hours, dense fog blanketed various parts of Delhi, including Munirka and Indira Gandhi International Airport, causing poor visibility.
SpiceJet issued a cautionary notice, anticipating potential disruptions to arrivals and departures at Delhi Airport owing to adverse weather conditions.
"Due to unfavorable weather in Delhi (DEL), flights for departures/arrivals and subsequent flights may face disruption," SpiceJet stated in a message on X.
The meteorological department had forecasted dense fog during the morning, expecting temperatures ranging from a low of 8 degrees Celsius to a high of 25 degrees Celsius, with minimal chances of rainfall.
