Extended Winter Break: Delhi Schools Closed Until Jan 10 Due To Cold Weather
The Directorate of Education officials in Delhi have announced an extension of the winter vacation until January 10 due to severe cold weather conditions. Originally scheduled to conclude on Saturday, classes were set to resume on Monday.

The city is currently experiencing intense cold waves, with the India Meteorological Department issuing a yellow alert predicting dense fog, light rainfall, and a further drop in temperature over the next few days.
In a statement, the Directorate of Education specified, "Owing to the severe cold weather conditions, all government and private schools in Delhi will remain closed until January 10 (Wednesday). Therefore, all school heads in Delhi are instructed to communicate this decision to all stakeholders."
