Explosion Heard At Prashant Vihar In Delhi's Rohini, Fire Tenders Respond: Reports
An explosion was reported in Prashant Vihar, Rohini, Delhi, on Thursday morning, over a month after a similar blast had caused panic in the area. The incident occurred near the PVR in Prashant Vihar, according to an indiatoday.in report.
The Delhi Fire Service received a call reporting the blast at 11:48 AM on Thursday, as stated by news agency ANI. Fire tenders were promptly dispatched to the site.

Last month, a powerful explosion tore through a wall of the CRPF school in Rohini's Prashant Vihar, sending shockwaves across the city and prompting an investigation by top security agencies. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
In response to the blast, police had heightened security across the city.
Preliminary investigations suggested that the blast may have been caused by a crude bomb. However, further analysis indicated that the explosion could have been triggered by cigarette butts discarded by a man walking his dog, which ignited industrial waste in a nearby garbage dump, according to an Indian Express report.
Witnesses and police, along with CCTV footage, confirmed that the blast destroyed part of the school wall, shattered the windows of nearby shops, and damaged several parked cars. The blast's sound was reportedly heard several hundred metres away.
Following the explosion, teams from the National Investigation Agency (NIA), National Security Guard (NSG), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), and Delhi Police sealed off the area, while forensic experts collected samples from the site.
