Donations pour in for AAP after Narendra Modi's 'AK-49' jibe

A day after BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi made a direct attack on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal calling him 'AK-49', the AAP's accounts have swollen up drastically.
According to reports, AAP collected more than Rs 1 crore on Wednesday.
Many say that the influx of funds towards the party was a result of Modi's 'AK-49' jibe at Kejriwal. The fund details, that the party usually publishes on its website reveal that a person named Ganesh Ramani from Hong Kong made a donation of Rs 63 lakh.

Modi in his rally in Jammu and Kashmir said that three AK's were admired in Pakistan- AK-47, AK Anthony and AK-49 (last one referring to Arvind Kejriwal and his 49-day government in Delhi).
Kejriwal, who announced his candidature from Varanasi against Narendra Modi said that he didn't have the funds to contest the elections and urged the people to donate.
"I am ready to challenge Narendra Modi. I do not have money to fight the elections, you will have to donate money to me," he said on Tuesday.
