Defused grenade recovered from Narendra Modi's standy-by flight

According to a TOI report, the aircraft was kept on stand by during Narendra Modi's recent US trip in case the jumbo jet used by him developed any snag. However the aircraft was allowed to fly commercially on Friday after Modi arrived in New Delhi on Thursday.
The flight was sent on a Delhi-Mumbai-Hyderabad-Jeddah route. However on reaching Jeddah security agencies found a defused grenade inside the business class of the aircraft, the report said.
However the aircraft has now been grounded in Jeddah and will not be flying out. Indian security agencies will take over the case and investigate how the diffused grenade made it to the aircraft.
