Delhi: Woman stabbed to death by husband while child was sleeping

New Delhi, Aug 1: A 34-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing her wife to death after a quarrel here, police said on Wednesday.

Renu (30) was allegedly attacked by her husband, Rajesh Singh Chauhan, with a kitchen knife in Neb Sarai on the intervening night of yesterday and today.

The couple's three-year-old son was sleeping at the time of the incident, a police official said. The accused fled from the spot.

The police were informed that a woman was found injured outside her home, following which she was rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead on arrival, police said.

The couple used to have frequent quarrels. The husband has been arrested, they added.
