Delhi Water Supply Cut: Jal Board Shares List Of Areas Likely To Face Water Disruption
Several areas of Delhi will face water disruption on April 21, announced the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) in a notification. This disruption in fresh water supply will be because of scheduled maintenance work, after which, water supply will be normalised.
"The water supply to Yashobhoomi Dwarka, Bharthal village, Dhulsiras, Bamnolii and their adjoining areas would be halted for 12 hours from 10 am due to interconnection works on the 1,000 mm diameter feeder line, which originates from Dwarka Water Treatment Plant," the DJB stated.

As per the Delhi Jal Board notification, the following areas will face water supply cut:
- Udyog Nagar
- Jwala Puri R Block
- Paschim Vihar
- Chander Vihar
- Ranhola Baprola
- Jai Vihar
- Chanchal Park
- Vikas Nagar
- Uttam Nagar
- Jai Vihar
- Maharani Enclave
- Ram Chander Enclave
- Pratap Enclave
- Shiv Vihar
- Rajan Vihar
- Hastsal Vihar
- Press Enclave
- Anand Vihar and nearby areas
Nearby areas likely to be affected:
Some other nearby areas may also face water disruption. These areas are Gurpreet Nagar, Dall Mill Road, Yadav Enclave, Roop Vihar, Mahata Enclave, Defence Enclave Part - 1, Shiv Vihar JJ Colony, Deep Enclave, Gupta Enclave, Shakti Vihar, Shishram Park, E-Block East Uttam Nagar, Indra Park, Indra Park Extension, Ram Dutt Enclave, Jain Park, Matiala Extension, Sukhi Ram Park, and Vanhey Park.
The Delhi Jal Board has advised resident of affected areas to store sufficient amount of water to fulfill their daily needs. "Residents of the affected areas are strongly urged to make judicious use of water during this time to ensure minimal disruption," the DJB stated.
Delhi Jal Board Water Tankers Supply:
The Delhi Jal Board has also made arrangements to provide water through tankers in the affected areas. Residents can make a request for water tankers through DJB helpline numbers or the central control room numbers.
