Delhi Power Cut, Water Supply Update On 7 February: Several Areas Face Scheduled Outages

Power supply is expected to remain disrupted in several parts of Delhi on 7 February due to routine maintenance and infrastructure work carried out by BRPL and other distribution companies.

Maintenance Work Behind Widespread Power Cuts

The outages are primarily linked to preventive transformer servicing, LT circuit maintenance, HVDS work and network upgrades. Officials stated that such exercises are necessary to improve reliability and prevent larger technical failures in the future.

Areas likely to experience interruptions include PWD Rest House, Alipur Village, Budhpur Village, Libaspur, NIT Campus, Jindpur, Mukmelpur, Bakhtawarpur and Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar.

Janakpuri (11:00 to 13:00)
Preventive transformer maintenance will affect Pocket GI Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II, Mayapuri Block 4 and Ashok Nagar.

Nizamuddin (11:00 to 14:00)
Transformer servicing will disrupt electricity in Jal Vihar, Pragati Maidan, Block D South Extension Part 1, Block H South Extension Part 1 and Hari Nagar Ashram.

Vasant Kunj (11:00 to 13:00)
LT circuit maintenance is scheduled for Sector D, Block R Mahipalpur Village, Harijan Basti Rajokri and Ghitorni Village.

New Friends Colony (11:00 to 12:00)
Blocks A and C, New Friends Colony East, Jasola Vihar and surrounding areas will be affected.
