Delhi Pollution: Odd-Even Scheme Put On Hold As Air Quality Improves
The Delhi government announced the postponement of the implementation of the odd-even car rationing scheme in the national capital. The decision comes in light of improved air quality following overnight rains, as reported by PTI.
During a press conference, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai stated that the government would reassess the situation post-Diwali.

"Delhi's pollution had escalated to the 'severe' category, but due to a change in weather and rainfall, the pollution situation has ameliorated. The Air Quality Index (AQI) has decreased to below 300, significantly lower than the previous levels of 450. Consequently, the odd-even plan, originally scheduled from November 13 to 20, is now postponed," Rai explained.
