On the other hand, flight services were hit by heavy rains, with Flightradar data revealing more than 100 delayed flights and four cancellations.
Passengers were urged by IGI Airport to confirm flight schedules with their airlines. "As per the IMD forecast, Delhi is experiencing inclement weather conditions. However, operations are currently normal," the airport's advisory noted. It has to be noted that airlines Indigo and SpiceJet took to social media platform X to warn travelers about possible traffic snarls across the city.

However, the rains provided relief from the heat, lowering temperatures and easing humidity.
Scattered showers are expected later in the day, with temperatures hovering between 23°C and 34°C in the coming days.
