Delhi model's suicide note reveals husband used to beat her up

New Delhi, March 28: A day after police officials found the body of 25-year-old model Priyanka Kapoor hanging from the ceiling fan in her house in Defence Colony, details from her suicide note have now come up.

According to a report in India Today, the 25-year-old- model blamed her husband in her suicide note saying that she was subjected to torture by her husband and also said that he had an objection to her lifestyle.

Senior police officials say that Priyanka's family have alleged that her husband Nitin Chawla used to beat her and harass her for dowry. Officials claim that Chawla had asked his wife to leave the house following an arguement.

In her suicide note, cops claim that Priyanka wrote: "Nitin wanted me to leave his house, so I am leaving the world." She also wrote that her husband used to hit her over petty issues and that he had stopped her from going to pubs several times.

Police found two copies of suicide note in Priyanka's house believed to be written by her just before her death. Priyanka also wrote in her suicide note that she got married to Nitin as a result of desperation.

Police recovered Priyanka's body on being informed by her family. Her family informed the cops after she failed to pick their calls. Her husband was arrested by the police on Sunday.
