Delhi Metro: 55 Metro Stations To Sell IITF Tickets
In a recent update, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced an innovative step for this year's India International Trade Fair (IITF) attendees. For the first time, tickets will be available both online and offline at the Bharat Mandapam complex, starting from Thursday. This move is part of DMRC's efforts to enhance accessibility and convenience for visitors planning to attend the fair, which is scheduled to be held at Pragati Maidan from November 14 to 27. This new initiative allows attendees to choose their preferred mode of ticket purchase, catering to the varied needs of the fair's diverse audience.
The DMRC has also expanded its ticket distribution network by making IITF tickets available at 55 prominent metro stations across its network. This facility will be operational until November 27, the last day of the fair, ensuring that visitors can easily purchase tickets from the customer care or ticket counters at these stations. Among the selected stations are Shaheed Sthal, Dilshad Garden, and Rithala on the Red Line; Samaypur Badli, Azadpur, and Millennium City Centre Gurugram on the Yellow Line; as well as Noida Electronic City, Indraprastha, Mandi House, and Barakhamba Road on the Blue Line. This extensive distribution aims to facilitate a smoother entry process for visitors, avoiding long queues at the venue.

Dynamic Ticket Pricing and Online Purchase Options
Ticket pricing for the IITF varies depending on the date and category of visitor. For business visitors, tickets are priced at Rs 500 for adults from November 14 to 18, with a reduced rate for children at Rs 200 from November 15 to 17 and Rs 150 on November 14 and 18. For the general public, the ticket prices are more economical at Rs 80 for adults and Rs 40 for children on weekdays, with a slight increase to Rs 150 for adults and Rs 60 for children on weekends and holidays. This tiered pricing structure is designed to accommodate the fair's wide array of visitors, from business professionals to families looking for a day out.
Additionally, the DMRC has made it easier for attendees by starting the sale of IITF tickets online from November 11. Tickets can be purchased via the DMRC's official app, DMRC Delhi Sarathi/DMRC Momentum 2.0, allowing visitors to avoid the hassle of physical ticket queues. The app also offers the unique option to book 8-seater golf carts for transportation within the Bharat Mandapam premises, available in two four-hour time slots daily. This service aims to provide added convenience, especially for groups or families attending the fair.
To ensure visitors are well-informed about the ticketing options, DMRC is utilizing various communication channels within its premises. Announcements, poster and QR code displays, digital screens, and passenger information display systems at metro stations and trains will be used to promote the seamless availability of IITF tickets. Moreover, regular updates will be shared on DMRC's social media platforms, keeping potential visitors abreast of any new information or changes.
Enhanced Visitor Support during the Trade Fair
Understanding the increase in foot traffic during the trade fair, DMRC is taking additional measures to assist visitors. Extra ticket counters, as well as additional guards, officers, and staff, will be deployed at the Supreme Court Metro Station and other major stations based on the day's requirements. This bolstered support is aimed at facilitating a smooth experience for everyone attending the trade fair, ensuring that visitors can focus on enjoying the event rather than worrying about logistical challenges.
