Delhi: Massive Fire Erupts In Motia Khan; One Dead, 2 Firefighters Injured

A massive fire incident was reported from Delhi's Motia Khan today, which resulted in a tragic loss of life of a man and property worth lakhs. The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) reported that the blaze started at a residence around 3:01 pm.

According to the reports, four fire tenders were dispatched to the scene as soon as the distress call was received. During the firefighting efforts, two firefighters, Ravinder Singh and Ved, sustained injuries when an LPG cylinder exploded. They were quickly taken to a hospital for medical attention.

DFS chief Atul Garg confirmed that after controlling the fire, rescue teams conducted a thorough search of the premises. They discovered a completely charred body on the fourth floor of the building. The identity of this deceased individual has not yet been confirmed.

The incident highlights the risks faced by firefighters during such operations. Despite their efforts to control the blaze, unforeseen dangers like exploding cylinders can lead to injuries or worse.
