Delhi horror: 2 boys brutally murder youth with broken beer bottle
New Delhi, May 25: Delhi, the national capital, witnessed a shocking crime when two boys, aged 9 and 10 killed a 23-year-old man, in a fit of rage, as they both were turned away by him for giving money.
According to TOI report, two violent boys, said to be beggars, approached 23-year-old Sanjay Kumar, a florist, in GovindPuri area of south east Delhi on Friday, May 22.
Kumar, who owned a flower shop near Kalkaji temple, was having a drink outside another shop. Both the boys went to Kumar, asking for money. But when he refused, boys became angry and threatened to kill him.
Then, a scuffle ensued between Kumar and boys. Kumar also slapped one of the boys. Then what followed was a gruesome crime.
Boys broke the beer bottle of Kumar. They smashed it on Kumar's head and one of them sat on Kumar's chest and severed his throat.
Kumar, a resident of Sanjay camp near Okhla industrial area, tried to save himself but he collapsed and died due to excessive bleeding.
Govindpuri police officials registered a murder case against the two boys and both of them were arrested from Kalkaji temple. They have been sent to juvenile justice home and are being counselled.
Their fathers work as rickshaw-pullers. Both boys are are said to be addicted to drugs.
