Delhi High Court orders Centre to investigate AAP's fund source

A bench of justices Pradeep Nandrajog and VK Rao asked for the Centre to report by December 10 about the accounts of AAP. The bench was hearing a PIL of petitioner advocate ML Sharma, who alleged that some of the members of the AAP were receiving foreign funds in violation of the law.
While taking the Centre's report on record, the bench asked the counsel to go through the details of funds given by the donors.

AAP had asked people to donate money to the party as they did not have any funds to go ahead with the election campaigns. Many supporters then came forward and donated money huge sums of money to the AAP and within a matter of few days, AAP's account had lakhs of money in it.
There were reports suggesting that an NRI had donated Rs 25 lakhs to AAP and many others who came forward with large sum of money for the party
