Delhi Elections 2025: Kejriwal Claims AAP Govt Saves Families ₹25,000 Monthly
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, launched the 'Bachat Patra' campaign in Delhi on January 31, aiming to highlight the financial savings Delhiites enjoy due to AAP's welfare schemes.
"Our volunteers will go door-to-door, sit with families, and calculate how much they save through AAP's schemes," Kejriwal announced at a press conference.

https://t.co/dDmWHjYWQ7

He claimed that every household in Delhi saves ₹25,000 per month under AAP's governance. If re-elected, the party's new initiatives will add another ₹10,000 to these savings. Key schemes in AAP's manifesto, including free bus travel for students, the Mahila Samman Yojana, and the Sanjeevani Yojana, are expected to contribute to this increase.
With the Union Budget set to be presented on February 1, Kejriwal contrasted AAP's welfare-focused approach with the BJP's governance. "Budgets usually increase inflation, affecting household finances. But in Delhi, our government ensures savings for every family," he said, accusing the BJP of planning to discontinue these benefits if elected.
He further alleged that the BJP diverts public funds to corporate allies, citing the transfer of Dharavi land in Mumbai to private developers. "Their priority is land acquisition, not public welfare," he claimed.
On water quality issues in Delhi, Kejriwal credited public pressure for reducing ammonia levels from 7 PPM to 2.1 PPM, calling it a victory against a conspiracy to defame AAP's governance.
