Delhi Crime: Woman Stabbed Multiple Times With A Sharp Knife
In a shocking incident in Delhi Cantonment area, a man made deadly attack with a knife on a 19-year-old woman on Sunday. According to police reports, the attacker stabbed the woman several times with a sharp knife and also injured himself. But what was more shocking that the terrifying incident happened at a public place, near Kirby Place bus stop, where several people were present, and no one tried to intervene to stop the man and safeguard the woman; instead, they chose to be spectators.
When both the injured, accused and victim, fell on ground, one of the passersby called the police to report the incident, after which, they were taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Government Hospital for emergency treatment.

According to police, the victim sustained serious injuries near her neck and abdomen. She was identified as a resident of Old Nangal area in Delhi Cantonment, and the accused has been identified as Amit from the same area.
A case has been lodged under Section 109(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Delhi Cantt Police Station and the probe is underway in the case.
From the preliminary investigation, it was learned that both had been friends for about a year and recently parted ways over unspecified reasons, which is likely to be the reason for the attack.
A video related to the incident is also doing round the internet, showing both attacker and victim in injured state surrounded by bystanders.
