Delhi: Congress releases theme song listing its achievements

New Delhi, Nov 4: Following the footsteps of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the

is leaving no stone unturned to woo the voters in the capital.

Just weeks ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Saturday, Oct 2 released an audio-visual theme song that showcases the achievements of the Congress government in the last 15 years.

The theme song titled 'Nahin Rukegi Meri Dilli' has been penned by lyricist Prasoon Joshi. The song talks about the need to sustain the development works in the capital for the next five years and also about the pace of development that is going to result in another victory for the Congress.

Singer Daler Mehndi has lent his voice to the song, that boasts with powerful visuals, about the implementation of various welfare schemes and infrastructure projects by the Congress government.

Dikshit in the video is seen interacting with the common man. At the event, she said that the song will be screened in theatres and in all constituencies through mobile vans.

Earlier the AAP was supported by singer Kailash Kher, who composed a song for the AAP which will be used at all the AAP functions and rallies.
