Rekha Gupta highlighted that the budget includes promises made by the BJP, such as the Mahila Samman Yojana. On March 5, women's organisations are invited to Vidhan Sabha for discussions on the budget. This initiative aims to ensure their voices are heard in shaping fiscal policies.
The government has issued a WhatsApp number (9999962025) for citizens to share their thoughts on the upcoming budget. This move is part of an effort to make governance more inclusive by considering diverse perspectives.
Focus on Key Initiatives
The budget aims to address various issues like pollution control and providing affordable food options for low-income groups. Additionally, it focuses on enhancing healthcare facilities for seniors and cleaning the Yamuna River. These initiatives align with the broader goal of creating a more developed Delhi.
Incorporating public feedback into policy-making is crucial for addressing community needs effectively. By engaging with citizens directly through platforms like WhatsApp, the government seeks to create a more participatory approach in governance.
The Chief Minister's call for suggestions reflects an effort towards transparency and accountability in governance. It allows residents to contribute actively towards shaping policies that impact their daily lives.
This participatory approach not only empowers citizens but also ensures that policies are aligned with public expectations.
