Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to oppose Land Aquisition Ordinance

New Delhi, April 22: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal will address a farmers rally today in the capital.

Kejriwal called of the proposed march to the parliament but will now address a rally to oppose Centre's Land Aquisition Ordinance.

The march was cancelled after Delhi Police denied permission. The rally will go as planned at Jantar Mantar.

Kejriwal will address his supporters and farmers from various states.Party leader Sanjay Singh said that the party will protest against the deadly Act for the farmers.

Meanwhile, according to TV reports police personnel have been trying to keep the media away from the venue.

AAP leader Kumar Vishwas on Tuesday said that the farmers were not given any support from the government and that just changing a few sections of the bill won't do good.

Sec 144 has been imposed around the Parliament to prevent AAP supporters from marching there even as the Parliament is in session.
