Delhi Airport Issues Advisory: Flight Arrivals May Be Delayed

Due to changing wind patterns in the area, Delhi International Airport has issued a passenger advisory advising about possible flight delays today. In order to ensure safe flight operations, the alert, which was issued at 9:26 AM on Friday, states that Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) procedures for arriving planes will be in force from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM IST.

In order to preserve safety and reduce danger during inclement weather, these ATFM precautions are typical worldwide practices. Authorities at the airport have stressed that all other activities, including departures, terminal services, and all three runways, will proceed normally, even though arrival timetables might be affected.
