Country Comes First, Inside Or Outside Jail: Kejriwal After Court Appearance In Delhi Liquor Policy Case
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, appearing in the Rouse Avenue Court for the excise policy-linked money laundering case, asserted that his commitment to the country remains unwavering, whether he is behind bars or free.
Earlier, Kejriwal withdrew his plea from the Supreme Court challenging his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). His lawyer, senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, cited ongoing conflicts with the remand proceedings as the reason for the withdrawal.

This decision follows the rejection of a similar petition by Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader K Kavitha, who was also arrested in the same case last week.Interestingly, the bench handling Kavitha's case had been assigned to hear Kejriwal's plea.
