Sachin Tendulkar faces bouncer from long-time friend Rajeev Shukla

Shukla, who also criticised veteran actress Rekha who also became an MP in the Upper House along with Temdulkar, was quoted by a daily news channel as asking: "Why have you chosen to become a member of Parliament if you don't attend?"
Shukla slammed Tendulkar over his poor attendance in the Upper House
Shukla said he had spoken to Tendulkar last week and the latter had promised that he would come. He said the cricketer-turned-MP also promised to join the next Rajya Sabha session.
Tendulkar reportedly has an appalling five per cent attendance record in the Upper House. His attendance at various sporting events in India and abroad in the last two months at the expense of the parliamentary sessions has not gone down well with a section of the MPs.
