CBI to record Manmohan's statement: BJP welcomes move
New Delhi, Dec 16: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday welcomed the special court's order to the Central Bureau of Investigation to record prime minister Manmohan Sing's statement in connection to a coal block allocation case of 2005.
The party said finally the truth prevailed.
The coal block allocation involved top industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla's company and asked to record the statement of former prime minister Manmohan Singh, who was also the coal minister then.
