CM Rekha Gupta, Health Minister Pankaj Singh Inaugurate CT Scan, Advanced Facilities At GB Pant Hospital

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Health Minister Pankaj Singh on Thursday inaugurated a new CT scan facility, a modern cath lab, and a dedicated neuro ICU at GB Pant Hospital, significantly boosting advanced treatment capabilities at one of the capital's leading government medical institutions.

The additions are aimed at improving early diagnosis, strengthening cardiac care, and ensuring specialised neurological treatment for critically ill patients.

The expanded infrastructure is expected to reduce waiting times, enhance emergency response, and provide access to high-end medical services for patients who depend on public healthcare.

CT Scan To Strengthen Diagnostic Services

The newly launched CT scan facility will enable faster and more accurate imaging, helping doctors detect serious conditions such as internal injuries, tumours, and brain disorders at an early stage. The availability of in-house advanced scanning is also likely to minimise delays in treatment, particularly for emergency cases.

Officials said the move would streamline patient flow and reduce the burden on existing diagnostic units in government hospitals.
