CBSE 12th 2023 Toppers List: Thiruvananthapuram Bags Top Spot, Prayagraj Comes Last
The Thiruvananthapuram region of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) put up an impressive performance in the CBSE Class 12 examinations with a pass percentage of 99.91 to top all the regions.
The Thiruvananthapuram region, comprising Kerala and Lakshadweep, was ranked ahead of Bengaluru, Delhi, and Chennai which had a pass percentage of 98.64 per cent, 93.24 per cent, 97.40 per cent respectively.

The Central Board of Secondary Education on Friday declared its class 12 results in which 87.33 per cent students have cleared the exam.
The CBSE has decided to do away with the practice of awarding first, second and third division to students based on their scores.
"No merit list will be declared by CBSE to prevent any unhealthy competition among students," the board said.

However, the board will issue merit certificates to 0.1 per cent of students who have scored the highest marks in various subjects.
