CBI hesitant to take up and probe Nido Taniam's case

Reports suggest that the CBI is likely to return the file to the Centre as it feels that there is no mystery left to the death considering all suspects have already been arrested.
An official from the agency is said to have said that they would study the case before any decision to begin a probe will be taken.
The Delhi police has slapped murder charges on four people in connection with the case. The post mortem reports had revealed that Nido had died of injuries to his head and face.
Protests erupted across the nation after his death with many demanding security for the people of north east and condeming the incident. Nido's family had then requested to the government that the CBI must conduct a probe in the case.
