Bundle Of Fraud: Congress' Kalkaji Candidate Alka Lamba Slams BJP's Delhi Poll Manifesto

Alka Lamba, the Congress candidate from Kalkaji, has criticised the BJP's manifesto for the Delhi Assembly election. She described it as "a bundle of fraud and lies." Lamba questioned the BJP's promise of providing gas cylinders at Rs 450 in Rajasthan, highlighting that no one is receiving them at that price.

She also targeted AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, labelling him "a bigger fraud." Lamba claimed women in Punjab are protesting outside Kejriwal's residence with passbooks, alleging they haven't received any promised funds. She urged AAP to focus on their achievements over the past decade.

BJP's Promises for Women

The BJP has unveiled its election manifesto with several promises aimed at women's welfare. Among these is the Matritva Suraksha Yojana, which offers six nutritional kits and Rs 21,000 in financial aid to pregnant women. This initiative aims to ensure their health and well-being.

Additionally, under the Mahila Samriddhi Yojana, the BJP plans to provide Rs 2,500 monthly financial assistance to women in Delhi. This measure is intended to empower them economically and improve their living standards.

Nadda's Criticism of AAP

JP Nadda, BJP's National President and Union Minister, launched the manifesto on Friday. He expressed confidence in winning the upcoming assembly election and described the manifesto as a 'foundation for a developed Delhi.' Nadda criticised AAP, accusing them of corruption.

Nadda alleged that AAP's Mohalla clinics are centres of corruption. He claimed fraudulent lab tests have been conducted there, resulting in a Rs 300 crore scam. Nadda assured that if BJP comes to power, these allegations will be thoroughly investigated.

Lamba further argued that while BJP may label certain initiatives as freebies, they are actually public funds. She stated that Congress and Rahul Gandhi have decided to return this money to the people. According to her, this approach benefits citizens directly.

The political landscape in Delhi remains tense as parties prepare for the assembly elections. Each party is striving to win public support through various promises and criticisms of opponents. The coming weeks will reveal how these strategies impact voter decisions.
