Beating Retreat Ceremony 2024: Dates, Tickets, Time, And More

The annual Beating Retreat Ceremony, signifying the culmination of the Republic Day celebrations that span from January 26 to January 29, is scheduled for January 29 at Kartavya Path in New Delhi.

During this ceremony, various regiments of the defense forces showcase their skills with bands, pipes, drums, buglers, and trumpets. Droupadi Murmu, the current President of India, will be the chief guest at the event. The majority of the musical performances by the defense forces personnel are inspired by Indian tunes.

For the Beating Retreat Ceremony 2024, the venue is Kartavya Path in New Delhi, and the event is set to commence around 4 PM (Indian Standard Time - IST). The three nearest Metro Stations to the venue are Shivaji Stadium, Janpath, and Udyog Bhawan.

Tickets for the ceremony are priced at Rs 100 each, with a total of 1,200 tickets available. To secure tickets, interested individuals can visit the dedicated website www.aamantran.mod.gov.in or download the MSeva Mobile App from the Google Play Store. The online booking process involves registering with a mobile number, entering the Captcha code, providing personal details of attendees, confirming through OTP, selecting the "Beating the Retreat Ceremony" option, and making the payment online. Upon successful booking, a QR code will be generated, containing the venue address.

It is important to note that Beating Retreat Ceremony tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Each registered mobile number is limited to booking up to 10 tickets.
