Autorickshaw community deserts Kejriwal ahead of LS polls

New Delhi, Mar 4: Seems like the aam aadmi is not backing their leader anymore. Reports suggest that Aam Aadmi Party (

) leader

has upset the autorickshaw community and they no longer are willing to support Kejriwal in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Auto drivers associations in New Delhi allege that Kejriwal has not lived up to his promise. They allege that Kejriwal had given them assurance that their autos would not be seized for minor violations, like the former Delhi CM had promised.

However the drivers lament that they are even now heckled by the transport department and the police officials and say that the officials have not received any written orders from the higher ups.

The auto drivers have now decided not to support AAP in the Lok Sabha elections.

The autorickshaw community had played a big role in the Delhi assembly elections last year as they had carried the banners of the AAP during the party's election campaign.
