Atishi's Message To The Parents Amid Delhi-NCR School 'Bomb Threats'
Multiple bomb threats were received by several schools in Delhi and adjoining Noida on Wednesday morning via emails, prompting a response from Delhi Police and other security agencies.
The threats led to evacuations and thorough searches of school premises, although no suspicious items were found, as reported by ANI.

Atishi's message on Bomb Threat
Delhi education minister Atishi reassured the public, stating that students had been evacuated and the police were conducting searches at affected schools. She emphasized that there was no need to panic and requested cooperation from parents and citizens.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Atishi wrote, Some schools have received bomb threats today morning. Students have been evacuated and those premises are being searched by Delhi Police. So far nothing has been found in any of the schools." Further, she added, "We are in constant touch with the Police and the schools. Would request parents and citizens not to panic. School authorities will be in touch with parents wherever needed."
Among the schools that received bomb threats were DAV Public School in Vikaspuri, Mother Mary's School in Mayur Vihar, Delhi Public Schools in Dwarka, Vasant Kunj, and Noida Sector 30, Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri, and Amity School in Saket. Delhi LG VK Saxena directed Delhi Police to provide a detailed report and ensure thorough searches to identify those responsible.
Taking to the microblogging site, LG Delhi wrote, "Spoke to the Police Commissioner and sought a detailed report into the bomb threats at schools in Delhi-NCR. Directed Delhi Police to carry out a thorough search in school premises, identify the culprits & ensure there are no lapses."
Authorities closed all schools in Delhi-NCR that received threat emails as a precautionary measure. Bomb detection teams, bomb disposal squads, and fire brigade officials were deployed to conduct search operations at the schools. The Delhi Police noted a pattern in the threat emails, suggesting a coordinated effort targeting multiple locations, as per the media reports.
Parents were informed about the situation through communications from the schools, advising them to collect their children promptly. The Noida Police also reported increased security measures and police presence at affected schools. Security agencies, including the Delhi Police Special Cell, are actively investigating to trace the source of the threat emails and identify the individuals responsible for the hoax.
