Arvind Kejriwal welcomes newest AAP member journalist Ashutosh

Ashutosh on Saturday formally joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and thanked Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for giving him the opportunity.

Addressing reporters here, Ashutosh said: "After the fight for independence, this is the first time that the country wants to bring change. This is the time for alternate politics in the country, I am thankful to Arvind Kejriwal for giving me this oppourunity," he said.

"My priority is not polls but to work for the party. I have always said that my personal ideology doesn't mix with my profession," he said.

Arvind Kejriwal welcomed Ashutosh in the party and said that it was a proud moment for the party. Speaking about the first janta durbar held on Saturday, Kejriwal said that he didn't expect such a turnout at the durbar.

"I apologise to the people for not being able to address all their problems at the Janta Durbar. Next time we will be more prepared, may hold Janta Durbar at a stadium," he said.
