Amidst controversy, VK Singh rubbishes reports of resignation
New Delhi, March 24: A day after Gen VK Singh attended the Pakistan National Day celebration which has caused a huge controversy, Singh on Tuesday night offered to resign.
Singh however rubbished the reports surrounding his resignation.

This comes a day after he attended the celebration and then tweeted that he was disgusted to attend the function. A high level meeting was held on Tuesday night at 7RCR after Singh's tweets stirred a controversy.
Post the meeting, Singh said that his tweet was misrepresented. "I am fully committed to my party and my government and specially to the Prime Minister,' Singh said.
He had attended the fuction for about ten minutes on Monday at the Pakistani Commission. "I have attended a lot of national day celebrations but haven't eaten at any of these events that's my set schedule," Singh said, explaining why he left the event after a short stay.
"One because I don't have time, and second because I am not very fond of eating."
