AIIMS shocker: Female doctor found dead inside Delhi hotel
New Delhi, April 19: In a shocking incident, a female doctor of AIIMS hospital was found dead inside a hotel in Paharganj in Central Delhi.
According to reports, the deceased doctor has been identified as Dr Priya Vedi, a senior resident doctor in Anesthesia department of the hospital.
Report said that Dr Priya Vedi, who hailed from Jaipur, checked in at Hotel Presidency at 11.45 pm on Saturday and gave a copy of driver's license as an identity proof.
On Sunday morning, when she didn't come out of her room, the hotel authorities informed the police.
The police officials discovered Dr Priya lying dead on the bed, with a slashed wrist.
The police suspected it to be case of suicide due to marital discord.
Her husband and other family members have been informed and called for questioning.

In a lengthy note on the social networking website Facebook, she posted 'publicly' that her husband, Dr Kamal Vedi, was a gay and used to torture her mentally.
She concluded the note saying, "You are a criminal Dr kamal vedi of my life . Dr kamal family is innocent but you are a devil.k"
