New Delhi, April 1: Days after VK Malhotra made a statement that places like 'Batla House and Jamia Nagar' were hubs for terrorists,' Delhi BJP chief Harshvardhan said that the party was a well-wisher of the Muslim community.

Addressing the minority community at Chandni Chowk on Monday, Harshvardhan said that 'no area is a terrorist hub in Delhi and that BJP was a well-wisher of the Muslim community in a real sense.'

"The Muslim government has seen this during Atal Bihari Vajpayee's government. And even when Narendra Modi government is formed, the educational, social standards of the Muslims will be improved," Harshvardhan said.

Malhotra, on the other hand, was served with a legal notice by the residents of the Batla House.

Harshvardhan added that terrorism was a global problem. "Only those people who have lost their way follow this path and BJP does not discriminate between majority and minority," he said.
