Actor Gul Panag's father, Lt Gen Panag joins AAP

Panag, father of Bollywood actor Gul Panag, is an activist and has been associated with the party for long but on Thursday ruled out the possibility of contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
He said that he would like to contribute to the party and would raise matters of national security pertaining to defence personnel. "I felt it was time to make a difference and of all the political parties this is the best for my kind of personality," he told. He is likely to advise the AAP on matters of national security.
Meanwhile, AAP continues to add more people in its kitty ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Several well known names, bureaucrats, celebrities and industralists are making a beeline for the party membership.
