AAP protests outside Jaitley's residence, BJP launches counter protest

New Delhi, Feb 4: It was a day of confusion, chaos and protests outside senior BJP leader

's residence on Tuesday morning as Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers protested outside Jaitley's residence.

What led to the confusion further was that the BJP workers launched a counter protest in the same vicinity against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

The Delhi police beefed up security in the area after both the parties held protests.

The protests come a day after AAP leader Madan Lal revelaed that he was approcahed by a member of the BJP who was close to Arun Jaitley. Lal however had no proof to back his claims.

BJP protested against misgovernance in Delhi

Meanwhile BJP, who launched a counter protests said that they were protestsing against Kejriwal and the 'misgovernance in Delhi.' Jaitley said: "This is a political gimmick by the AAP."

BJP leaders said that is someone did try and bribe the AAP leader, they should have conducted a sting operation on the whole issue.

BJP Vice President Smriti Irani said that the 'AAP government has no agenda and had failed in terms of governance.'
