AAP praises Admiral Ramdas, says party holds him in high esteem
New Delhi, March 20: Days after the rift within the AAP came out in the open and reports suggested that AAP veteran Admiral Ramdas may face the heat in the coming days, AAP issued a statement on Thursday saying that 'the party holds Admiral Ramdas in high esteem.'
Earlier reports had suggested that Admiral Ramdas may face the heat after the party was upset with his letter.

Ramdas had written a letter addressed to the party's national executive last month stating that the differences within party leaders was the reason behind the rift that the party was facing. He had also mentioned about the party being about just one-man.
Following his letter, AAP leader Prashant Bhushan's letter too caused a massive furore in the party, leading to his and Yogendra Yadav's explusion from the PAC.
AAP in its statement said that the party appreciated Ramdas' role as an impartial Lokpal, who never interfered in the party's decision-making process nor did he ever make any attempt to take sides on any issue.'
The party also denied any reports of action being taken against Ramdas and said that he would continue to guide the party.
AAP in an attempt to bury the hatchet between Kejriwal loyalists and senior leaders Yadav and Bhushan, many meetings were held after Kejriwal's return and the party decided on AAP's future plans of expanding nationally.
