WATCH | Shilpa Shetty In Tears After Visiting Hospital To Pay Tribute To Late NCP Leader Baba Siddique

Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty and her husband, Raj Kundra, visited Lilavati Hospital on October 12 to pay their respects to the late NCP leader Baba Siddique.

The 66-year-old politician was tragically shot outside his son, MLA Zeeshan Siddique's, office in Bandra, Mumbai, during Dussehra celebrations.

In a now-viral video, Shilpa Shetty can be seen visibly moved as she exits the hospital, struggling to hold back tears. Another video shows Shilpa breaking down in her car before stepping out to meet Siddique's grieving family, with her husband by her side, offering support.

Siddique's assassination has sent shockwaves through Mumbai. According to reports, three men approached the politician, using firecrackers as a distraction, and fired three shots, one fatally striking him in the chest. Police have arrested two suspects, while a third remains at large.

Several other close associates and friends, including actor Salman Khan, rushed to the hospital upon hearing the tragic news. Salman reportedly canceled filming for Bigg Boss 18 to pay tribute to Siddique.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has condemned the attack and assured the public that strict action will be taken against those responsible for the brutal killing.
