Watch: Footage of chartered plane crash in Mumbai

Mumbai, June 29: A shocking video of moments before the chartered plane crash in Mumbai's Ghatkopar has been released on Friday. Five people, including 4 on-board, lost their lives in the crash.News agency ANI shared the video on its twitter handle.

The crash created a crater on impact. The fuselage had broken into several pieces and one piece was recovered at least 50 metres away while some other portions of the plane were seen burning in thick black smoke in the premises of an under-construction building.

According to reports, minutes before the crash that took place around 1:15 pm, about four dozen labourers who are usually working at the building stepped out for lunch.

Kanu Gohain, Executive Director of Indamer Aviation Pvt Ltd (IAPL), said, "Aircraft was repaired after it was sold to Indamer Aviation & damaged parts were also replaced. But the incident is really unfortunate as it claimed 5 lives."
